Abstract
This paper describes current research aiming at exploring the applicability of Axiomatic Design and Design Structure Matrix in developing a systematic methodology for collaborative business platforms that are able to deliver high levels of Business Interoperability, such as measured by the Business Interoperability Quotient Measurement Model. The development of the systematic methodology should enable the detailed design of Information and Communication Technology based platforms, which sustains product design, development and production, in context of Lean, Agile, Resilient and Green Industrial Ecosystems. Axiomatic Design will be applied in order to guide finding suitable Design Parameters to meet the needs of the Functional Requirements of the Lean, Agile, Resilient and Green Industrial Ecosystems. Design Structure Matrix will be applied to support the knowledge of the interactions amongst the Functional Requirements and Design Parameters.
